His sibling is Walter Hayes.

Alexander grew up in Detroit, MI and changed his last
name from Huk to Hayes before he got married.
Alex worked at Tacom Tank plant, part of the U.S. Army.
civilians in Warren, MI for many years.
Alexander married Jennie Master on June 10, 1939
at Nativity of Our Lord Church , Detroit, MI.
Alex and Jennie had 5 children: Carol, Alex, Dolores, Laurene,
& Robert. They raised their children in Warren, MI in a small
house on Capital St. Alex and Jennie retired to Florida.
Alex was the drain commisioner in Florida also.

Alexander died January 13, 2001
